Over at gf’s lanterna magica is an interesting exploration of a conversation based on an idea that came to me… “the flesh factory”
in this world of perpetual compromise, where we seem quite compelled to eat meat even if less than 2% of us have ever had experiences killing the animals we eat, perhaps a solution that entails less animal suffering and equal carnal (or at least close to equal) could be at least interesting if not advantageous.
Of course it is quite possible that our collective consciousness will transcend our spiritually infantile, obviously animalistic, desires to indulge in consuming meat. It is possible that this will occur before the technology to support the flesh factory is operational. It is possible that we will slow down our reproduction and increase of food production and decrease our polution rates enough to sustain life on this planet for another 100 years.
As always…
Other things are also possible…

i really love it when things work out _just_ right in the universal timing spheres… Of course in one sense i don’t believe in time at all (in part due my preference for abandoning belief in general)… and in another time is a magical paradox of unlimited potential.
I like to share with you yet another cute little synchronicity:
I sit in a meeting with Daniel and Andreas and Nina about the trail blazing ground breaking mind bending movie project (redundantly described here and redundantly temporarily entitled:), “Leading AND cutting edge.” After some _very_ enjoyable and inspired discussion, I am ready to leave as the crew is ready to delve into more logistical discussion that they are partially informationally undernourished to adequately discuss, a discussion which i didn’t have much place in anyway. So as i depart on the way to visit the lovely Anna M. i am for some unknown reason not motivated to jump on my bike and ride immediately. Rather, i choose to walk along the sidewalk with my bike, and i notice a rather tall man with shaved head and razor sharp blue eyes… and i exclaim “hey!” Thomas L. turns around and recognizes me from within a post-computer haze… This is a man whom i have never crossed paths with in copenhagen in the many months i have lived here. A man whom i met “randomly” in January in India at the ashram known as Anandaloka I, part of the Oneness University in Varadaiahpalem.
I had recently been interally advised that contacting him will be a good idea as he has a passionate interest in technology development and concept representation including graphic design and advertising/marketing. Our brief discussion on the street there led me to think that there is quite a strong capacity for us to bring some very facinating products to market in idealistically, ethically, and environmentally sound (and lucrative) ways.
So there are two rather distinct varieties of “good news” embedded in this story… i don’t like to take the excessively preacherly stance to tell you what it means, rather i like to share with you the meaning i have enjoyed creating and encourage you to reflect about the nature of coincidence and miracle and timing and syncronicity on your own time in your own way…
I feel that it was a beautiful thing to meet Thomas, both in india and again on theTime in Copenhagen. It feels like good news that i have decided to return to copenhagen on the day that i choose and it feels like good news that thomas is quite interested to explore some possible collaborations.
In another sphere, i feel it is an amazing miracle (most thankfully, a rather common one for me recently) that for some reason (even though i was excited and motivated to get to see Anna) i choose to walk slowly with my bike dragging by my side, rather than jump onto it and ride along… in which case i most certainly would have passed that intersection before Thomas wandered accross my path. For this i say !thanks be! to the cosmic coordinator who might as well remain nameless…
expecting enough
==============
I cry into the sea
expecting her to change
I laugh into the wind
expecting him to care
I smile at the trees
expecting them to join
I expect my own expectation
demanding that he return
I want my own wanting
begging it to stay
I long for more desire
never to be fulfilled
I create my own emptiness
letting us be enough
====================
I think it is clear that the world could use more heart, could use more femininity, could use more soul… and i think its on the way and in some ways its all already here!

Agent Smith: I’d like to share a revelation that I’ve had during my time here. It came to me when I tried to classify your species. I realized that you’re not actually mammals. Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the surrounding environment, but you humans do not. You move to an area, and you multiply, and multiply, until every natural resource is consumed. The only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. A virus. Human beings are a disease, you are a cancer of this planet, and we are the cure. Agent_Smith_human_disease
In the matrix these words are from an agent of an inhumane population of machines who could care less about the physical appearance of the planet earth… a population of bloodless, compassionless, cluelessly clever machines that had managed to create a virtual world that “tricked” us all into feeding their electrical supply with our neuronal impulses. A curiously sustainable system i may add.

i’ll admit, somethymes i tire of deeze silly words… yet i also admit that http://sallykempton.com/ is on to great truth when she writes:
the magic of words is that they can, in and of themselves, transform our consciousness

Practicing enlightenment, thinking “as if” you were an enlightened sage, is one of the world’s most sophisticated exercises in “fake it till you make it.” Of course, it only works when we do it for its own sake, not because we’re trying to impress people, not because we’re pretending to be something we’re not, and definitely not in order to claim mastery we don’t possess. We do it the way kids pretend to do grown-up things–because it habituates us to the mature self we will one day become. The truth is, we all hold inside us a template for enlightenment.
The PenAgain company from Pacifica, California has created a wonderful product.
You can place this pen in your hand and write without really gripping the pen… you don’t need to use force to hold the pen… it just stays in your hand and you can use the weight of your hand and slight effort to guide the motion to write or draw… It is amazing. I like it alot.
