This whole concept is a little funny for me personally because i didn’t don’t won’t study business. Networking is a new concept for me - the universe has been showing me what networking is by throwing important people at me… constantly…

I think there is a certain beauty and a certain danger with networking. I don’t like the way it feels to think of people as assets. I don’t like the way it feels to think about owning names or ideas. I do like the idea of cherishing each and every spark of life… connecting with every sliver of intelligence that we can manage to percieve…

So many decisions made on the brink of a blink… so much etheric intelligence surrounding our seemingly discrete psyches… are we ever not relying on the greater mindNet to guide us.?. are we ever free from the ideas that have been ingrained into us by our teachers and parents and experiences.?.

I think technology can help us to make a smooth transition to trusting telepathy… to grasp synchronicity and play with it and cherish it without thinking its weird and or scary nor taking it for granted or expecting it… how many times have you felt a friends pressence only to recieve an sms moments later or to find an email waiting when none was expected?

we are all right here, right now… and realizing it more and more with every moment…

Creative Synchronicities

When a search for wiki+wordpress finds a kindred spirit i smile and giggle out loud…
So I am a guy who is starting an alternative energy company in Denmark (as soon as i convince the Danish government to grant me residence) and i am making some blogs and looking for an integrated wiki type functionality for wordpress… not only do i find the wiki solution, but the example of it is a very well done hobby blog on … you guessed it hydrogen energy

A great quote from Ton’s site:

Then when you hit puberty they take the crayons away and replace them with books on algebra etc. Being suddenly hit years later with the creative bug is just a wee voice telling you, “I’d like my crayons back, please.”

When I was a little child I thought of the world as a place where all kind of treasure was hidden just for me to go and find it. In elementary school that was hammered out, and the world became darker for it. When I left the beaten track due to depression ten years ago, I slowly succeeded in regaining that feeling of wonder when I was a toddler. Got my crayons back as Hugh says.

Wow, I am reading this gem of a book once again, and well yeah… wow.

The simple precision of the language and the elegance of the characitures amazes me.

I wholehearedly recommend this book.

language twisting twisting

Once again i’d like to mention this book: The Cosmic Serpent

a facinating account of an antropologists journeys into the world of indiginous knowlege and utter amazement at the depth of knowlege that these “uneducated” shamans have regarding DNA (which they call “language twisting twisting”) and mitosis and medicinal properties of plants. Also includes a very interesting set of statistics (see an old post for my redigestion and investigation of these statistics) about the likelihood that the complexity of life that we observe as the result of evolution, could have actually emerged by pure chance…

Which raises a few questions i have for you:
Do you believe in evolution as a process of diversication of life via genetic mutations?
If so, do you believe that the primary driving force of these advantageous genetic mutations is random chance?
Do you believe that DNA is a language?
Do you believe that the use of language is a sign of intelligence?

strange to think that people were actually there. people could actually smell the smoke. people could actually hear the crumbling… people

i was barely a person that morning… i was a golfer… coming in after a relatively frustrating nine holes to a big screen tv in a clubhouse in Missouri. BumbleKahoozee. I thought it was a movie until people seemed a little to fired up, a little too tense, a little too serious.

not sure how it happened from there. but its real. and no matter how much conspiracy evidence comes out… it was a real conspiracy or a real whateverywho kinda disaster it was… it sure was…

So i’ve been doing a little personal research experiment since i’ve been back in the states.
I find my energy level so much more consistent and higher and healthier if i am eating pure meals with more raw food and less silly combinations.
My quick rules:
avoid:
- acid + protein
- starch + protein
- starch + sugar
- different protein sources together
seek and eat alone:
- raw milk products
- whole grains
- raw vegetables
- raw fish (yummm - but no rice!)

This whole thing has been partly prompted by daveo’s little taoist health book:

A careful comparative examination of the diets and
health of beggars in India and apparently healthy young
American teenagers revealed that in India the average
daily calorie intake of the typical beggar amounted to
less that half that of the typical American.

Yet only 6.25 percent of the beggars showed any sign of
nutritional deficiency, while a staggering 75 percent
of the American teenagers showed signs of severe
malnutrition. Only 1.25 percent of the Indian beggars
suffered dental cavities, compared with over 90 percent
of the young Americans. Conclusion: the typical beggar
in India derives greater health from his meager diet
than the average American teenager does from his ‘rich’
diet.

inspirational marketing

Even (perhaps especially) in the midst of such incredible luxury and excessive entertainment, people still yearn for meaning.

I am hoping that people will tolerate glossy superficial advertising and media less and less and begin to demand that the companies they are supporting are in turn supporting the care of the planet and our people and our resources.

just heard a story about a ESA reasearcher who lost two years of prep work and many Euro’s worth of cash on a failed microgravity experiment - because her boss miswired some small electronic component… point being lots of interest, lots of money allocated, lots of starving thirsty people, lots of pollution, lots of pesticide on our food….

Can we play a role in cleaning up this environment so that we deserve to visit space? Can we prove that we know how to engineer stasis within a very supportive environment before we go trying to inhabit a much less supportive one?

Space is sexy. Space is the ultimate escape from the disaster we are creating…
