A nice bucking fush quote from the gov ::
President George W. Bush discusses the Global War on Terror during an address to the Reserve Officers Association Friday, Sept. 29, 2006. “This is the call of a generation, to stand against the extremists and support moderate leaders across the broader Middle East, to help us all secure a future of peace,” said the President. ummmm, waging war in the name of peace?? haven’t we been through that before? did it ever actually work?
by the way typing “failure” into the search box and clicking I’m feeling lucky, produces a humorous result and a convienent shortcut to the above quoted information.
ps:
Apparently there is the curse that says that no President elected in a zero year (e.g. 1960, 1980, 2000) will survive office. It has been true for 200 years, with the exception of Reagan, who survived an assassination attempt.
reasonably intense and relatively surreal

hmmm…
strange to think that people were actually there. people could actually smell the smoke. people could actually hear the crumbling… people…
i was barely a person that morning… i was a golfer… coming in after a relatively frustrating nine holes to a big screen tv in a clubhouse in Missouri. BumbleKahoozee. I thought it was a movie until people seemed a little to fired up, a little too tense, a little too serious.
not sure how it happened from there. but its real. and no matter how much conspiracy evidence comes out… it was a real conspiracy or a real whateverywho kinda disaster it was… it sure was…
and now..?
