I recently read an article in a dual-language norsk/english magazine on an airplane.
As you can see in the message i sent to the editor of the magazine post@ibodo.no … i’m pretty appalled.
It is only because we swallow this sort of crap that it is possible for it to perpetuate. Things can change… but we must start with ourselves. We can’t wait for some politician to pretend. Change starts here and now with you and me making decisions.

Please,
Who in their right mind actually published such a phrase?
Where is the dignity? the integrity? the honesty? the humanity?

quote (pg. 71 in iBodø Nr2 Spring/Summer 2009):

“In a combat situation it is crucial that all equipment functions as it should. NOBLE (Norwegian Battle lab and Experimentation) in Bodø delivers smart solutions that save lives.”

I am saddened, enraged, indignated, and frustrated all at once! It is complete hypocrisy and unfortunately utterly typical of pathetic acceptable military propaganda… In the same magazine, merely 6 pages away, rescue/lifeguard workers ( who actually save lives ) are nearly begging for two extra staff members and this nonsense gets published?? And these organizations receive more than ample funding to perpetuate the global economic-military exploitative disaster that we call society???

The madness must stop and we the normally sheepish consumers must begin to raise our voices.

I say this is simply not OK.
I request a formal public statement admitting the foolishness of such contradictory hogwash and a revelation of the truth behind the military system and fear based propaganda.

We are wiser than this. We can make a difference. We can spend our tax money elsewhere. We can be the peace that we long to see in the world.

Please people, rise up.
Come Forth.
Be True.
