Synchro-what?
So you still believe in “coincidence” huh???
How’s about a story for you. Many of you are already intimately familiar with the concept of synchronicity. If not i hope that this story can serve as a trust building introduction for you.
Please don’t let fear influence your perception of this phenomenon. Please open your heart to the nature of reality – and start expecting/embracing/accepting/creating miracles with faith and graceful joyous light.
So I am on my way to Karamea (or so i think), and in rotorua at the exact moment that i arrive at a little backpackers (youth hostel hotel kinda place) a young german woman named johanna is asking about a cheep room. The same question that i would have asked moments later, had i not heard the answer given to her. So logically we share a double room and end up driving around together in her little car… catching magical sunsets and talking about how happy she it with her new boyfriend and then we part company in Bulls (a funny little town on the north island). I spend the night until 4 AM at the Mobil Mart and meet with a sociologist who is wandering the world for 2 years now after giving up EVERYTHING in GB… Then on the ferry crossing, this amazing guy walks up during the last 20 minutes of the ride – we are both dead tired, but knew that we should be talking (even before when we saw eachother in the boarding area). Within minutes we decided i was joining him to a special little family farm that he was on the way to.
So i am guided to a nice garden with special beautiful people that i didn’t know existed mere hours before. The unplanned wandering “pays off” already and it feels magically synchronistic… You may say “so what” or yeah thats cool but no big deal… please do… the zinger is on the way.
Arriving at this special space i met another passer by named Nathan. Nathan is a acupuncturist from California. WOW another american in NZ! No, not only. This guy has a son who grew up in Lakewood, NJ. And now lives in Jersey City. And is buying a house pretty soon.
Sometime on the second day this information clicks a little bit and this guys jewish nose starts to itch at me and i thought to myself “this guys a schulmann” -
“whats your last name nathan.” i ask.
“schulmann,” he replies.
“so you know a seth. Maybe?”
“yeah – he’s my son.”
Get it? This world is a whole hell of a lot more connected than we can possibly imagine and i sure love learnin’ how to listen!
It has been said that if your life isn’t chock full of such events, then you may want to get out a bit more, but also, you may want to get in a bit more ass well – meaning we can all take some time to go deeper within ourselves – searching for our connection to the collective unity that binds us together… that brings our yearning for motion and fluidity and surprises and creativity…
Embracing the mystery, leaving the detail of the other dimentions for the other dimentionals, learning to listen with each whispering wandering step…
“with love and soft wondering”

Here is a little movie of the walk into an amazing garden of light
UPDATE:
During the same internet session that i wrote and posted this little story, i phoned to Paul over at Rongo and he tells me that curiously enough Dave is also in Nelson. Hehe. But of course he is… so even though i was on my way to Karamea to meet up with the bloke - he’s already a little closer… Now Nelson isn’t a big town and maybe there aren’t so many restaurants open on a sunday evening… but timing is everything right?
So i walk out of the internet cafe on my way to the person’s house where Dave is staying - thinking OK thats pretty funny to be there waiting when he returns from dinner… but a small itch told me maybe he’s close by or on the way. As get to the first corner (admittadely a very central well lit corner in Nelson) I saw a sweet girl who smiled very nicely at me on my way into the internet cafe… so we passed at the same spot on the same corner twice with a hour and a half internet session in between. She really loved the wicker (flax) bag that i had been given as a pass me along gift earlier in the afternoon before i left paradise garden. So after giving Mayumi the bag we sat down to chat a bit and just as we were winding up a short conversation none other than Master Besseling wanders giddily towards us and we trip out a bit about yet another cosmic timing game…
will it ever stop? i donKnow… pick up the mic and…
i flow
